Roy B. Vader 5-30-1897 – 9-6-1979 On 12-11-1917 he married Mary Elizabeth Bragg (8-24-1900 – 1-16-1987). Roy had blue eyes and light brown hair. By 1930 census Eugene & Ida were living with them. Roy and Mary did not have any children (Things I remember: Uncle Roy & Aunt Mary were special. I always enjoyed going to their place. They had an old view finder that you put picture cards in for viewing. I also thought his tool shop was special. Bragg on August 24, 1900 in Almer Township and was a life-long resident. She lived in Unionville and Cass City areas before coming to Caro 4 years ago. She married Roy B. Vader on 12-11-1917 in Eaton Rapids, but he preceded her in death on 9-6-1979. She was a member of the Sutton-Sunshine Methodist Church of Caro, the United Methodist Women, the Farmers Club, the Gleaners Society and the Order of the Eastern Star of Unionville. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Four brothers, William, Noble, Carey and Harry Bragg also preceded her in death. Mary's father was born in England and her mother was born in Canada. Roy & Mary are buried in the Caro Cemetery, block 12, lot 48, along beside William B.
