Inez Marie Jacobs, 81, Burlington, died Nov 21, 2004 at her home.
She was born Nov 16, 1923, in Honey Creek to the late William and Loraine (Dutcher) Himebauch.
She spent her early life in California, then Honey Creek and Burlington. She received her education in Courtland, California and at Rochester Agricultural School, Rochester.
She married Herbert W. Jacobs, Feb 1, 1942, at Burlington United Methodist Church. Following marriage they lived in Burlington and Kenosha.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crafting, gardening and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Burlington; sons, William Burlington, Thomas (Sharlene), Mayflower, Arkansas, James (fiancee Julie Casper), Burlington; daughter, Peggy (fiance Robert Clark) Haas, Honey Cree; seven grandchildren; nine great - grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Ella) Himebauch, Burlington, LeRoy (Florence) Himebauch, Burlington, Charles (Lois) Himebauch, Byron, Illinois; sister, Edith (Alvin) Ludwig, union Grove; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Schiefer and brother , Fred Himebauch.
Funeral services were Nov. 24, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington. The Rev. Terry Lemmon officiatted. Burial is Friday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. at Burlington Cemetery.
